The ‘Say Sure To The Gown’ finale has arrived. On this EXCLUSIVE preview of the Sept. 12 episode, a bride falls in love with one reception costume however her mother says it makes her appear like a ‘cake topper.’

Bride Alexandra Gerhart has already discovered the wedding ceremony costume of her desires, however, she’s coming to Kleinfeld to search for an attractive Pnina Tornai costume to put on at her reception. She tries one reception robe on this EXCLUSIVE preview of the Say Sure To The Gown finale that has a sheer bustier high and lovely Swarovski crystals. The costume retails for a whopping $21,300.

“I’m enthusiastic about this one, and I simply had an immediate feeling that it was the one,” Alex says in our EXCLUSIVE preview. “Proper now, I’m certain that is the costume. However truthfully, if my mother hates it I don’t know what I’ll do.”

When Alex walks out to the ground, her mother robotically doesn’t appear impressed with this costume. Alex’s mother asks her daughter what she thinks of the reception costume. Alex admits that she doesn’t just like the dangling jewels. Her mother asks about all of the “fluff.” Alex turns around and realizes that her mother hates the costume.

“I believe you appear like a cake topper,” Alex’s mother tells her daughter. She says to her daughter in a confessional, “I imply, while you put that on and also you see your self with all that stuff, I imply, did you’re feeling like, sure? Sure, that is what I would like?”

Alex’s mother provides that she thinks this reception costume “makes her bum look flat and her hips look extensive. Who needs a flat bum?” She does say it’s a “nice costume” in the event you’re solely fascinated with the “bust-up.”

For Alex, that is clearly a letdown as a result of she did love the costume. “I clearly need my mother to like the costume, however, my largest concern just isn’t discovering a costume to please each of us,” she says. The Say Sure To The Gown finale will air Sept. 12 at eight p.m. on TLC.
