LAME: ‘Professional-Immigration, Professional-Selection’ Republican Hailed as ‘Hero’ on ‘FBI: Most Wished’

Republicans are usually solid as the villains on TV, however one present lastly made a GOP “hero:” a “pro-immigration, pro-choice” one who refused to vote in opposition to the impeachment of President Trump.

On the March 16 episode “One-Zero” of FBI: Most Wished, Agent Jess LaCroix (Julian McMahon) and his crew tackle the case of Consultant Diane Ferris’ (R-NY) murdered son, Jake. Agent Sheryll Barnes (Sheryl Sternberg) thinks it’s acceptable to state her opinion on the congresswoman’s politics for some purpose, saying, “The Republican who votes her conscience. Professional-immigration, pro-choice, abstained on impeachment twice.”

Agent Hana Gibson: It is your anything- but-typical Friday evening at Bard Faculty. Second from left is our quarry, Dylan Wright, no less than that is what the id he flashed on the bar stated. The bro together with his arm round him is our sufferer, Jake Ferris. He is a senior at Bard.

Agent Kenny Crosby: We’re chasing one-offs now?

Hana: Jake is a son of New York Consultant Diane Ferris. Ring a bell?

Agent Sheryll Barnes: The Republican who votes her conscience. Professional-immigration, pro-choice, abstained on impeachment twice.

Agent Ivan Oritz: Which actually pissed off her get together’s base. She’s had protesters outdoors her house.

Because the brokers are trying into whether or not Jake’s demise was politically motivated, Rep. Ferris’ politics come up as soon as once more. Jess asks one of many pals there with Jake the evening he was killed if the suspect ever talked about Rep. Ferris, stating, “She’s been within the information rather a lot these days.” The pal says, “Individuals are fairly chill about that right here, she’s type of a hero.”

Whereas the brokers would have purpose to ask round if their suspect had a political motive, the following reference to politics, this time concerning the Capitol riot, made no sense in any respect:

In making an attempt to establish the killer, Hana stories, “I tracked each identify within the risk profile on the congresswoman. None of them point out Jake, however one man was on the Capitol on January sixth. He stated he needed to place a bullet in Diane Ferris’ head.” However, “He is in jail on a parole violation. He could not have executed it.” Why on earth, then, did it even must be talked about if “he couldn’t have executed it?”

Jess concludes, “I don’t assume that is political,” and politics and the congresswoman are by no means spoken of once more. It seems that Jake was the sufferer of a serial killer and not one of the victims had been killed for political causes, however moderately as a result of the perpetrator was bullied and wanted to realize a way of energy again.

The writers introduced up politics only for the sake of constructing some idiotic political level that had zero to do with the plot. They needed viewers to know {that a} Republican who votes their conscience is a “pro-immigration, pro-choice” one. That’s the one type of Republican they’d ever model a “hero.”
