As Hagar defined it and as God recorded it, “You’re a God who sees [El Roi].” She named the properly the place she encountered Jesus as Beer-lahai-roi, properly of the Residing One who sees me. The implication is that God opens our eyes to see Him in His fullness and know His Phrase, which might solely happen fully within the context of assembly with Jesus on His day (Col. 2:3).

As our Sabbath and as Divine Grasp of that day, Jesus has turn out to be a Stumbling Block to many, particularly the believers. The excellent news is: you do not have to stumble anymore.

The encouraging fact is that God just isn’t a harsh, merciless God who loves to seek out us at fault so He can crush us. He’s Love (I John 4:8). And He’s, as I do know properly personally, Eloah Selichot, the God of Forgiveness (Neh. 9:17). He forgives us for being deceived about His day. The Good Shepherd welcomes us into the inexperienced pastures of Sabbath relaxation.
